Things people usually ask
What if my kids won’t cooperate?
This is the one I hear most, and honestly it’s never been a problem. Children don’t need to pose. I work with whatever mood they’re in. Running away, hiding behind a parent, mid-meltdown, all of it makes for the most honest and beautiful images. We go at their pace.
What should we wear?
Soft tones and textures work beautifully. Think creams, warm neutrals, dusty blues, and earthy greens. Avoid bright white, bold logos, or lots of clashing patterns. And most importantly: wear something you actually feel comfortable in. Confidence reads in photos.
Where do we shoot?
We choose together based on what suits your family and your session. I know beautiful spots across London and Surrey, parks, woodlands, golden meadows, and quiet urban corners. Bloom and Legacy sessions include location scouting so we find somewhere that feels personal to you.
How long until we see our images?
Your proofing gallery is usually ready within two weeks of your session. Once you’ve made your selections and the balance is settled, your final edited images are delivered within a couple of weeks after proofing. I’ll keep you updated every step of the way.
What happens if the weather is bad?
A little drizzle can actually make for gorgeous moody shots. Genuine bad weather is rare, but if it’s truly unusable, we’ll reschedule at no cost. I’ll always check the forecast with you a few days before so we’re never caught out.
Can I buy more images than my package includes?
Yes. Additional edited images are available to purchase individually from your proofing gallery. You’ll see all your favourites before you decide, so there’s no pressure and no guesswork.
